Great Practice, Marlins!

Hey, Marlins! All players put in a good practice today. You all learned how to run through first base and run full speed to second, third, and home. Don't forget to look at your base coach. He will tell you to stay at that base or run to the next base. Take a look at the video clip of your player running the bases.

We also worked on fielding grounders and making the throw to first base. Please work on fielding grounders at home and making good, accurate throws.

Please make sure your player wears a hat to practice....it will really help with keeping the sun out of his eyes. Also, please send water or gatorade with your child to each practice. Our next pratice is Monday, March 8 from 5:30-6:45 at WoodCreek Jr. High. I hope to see everyone Monday evening.

Practice went great tonight! Thanks to all the dads who helped out. We had 3 stations - soft toss, hitting off the tee with the training bat, and hitting off the machine. All the boys did a great job and everyone seemed like they had fun.
